Professor Dipra Jha
 

• Professor of practice and the Director of Global Engagement for the Hospitality, Restaurant and Tourism Management program at University of Nebraska-Lincoln in the United States.

• Recognized as a global expert in tourism and luxury hospitality and does collaborative work with communities, private sector organizations as well as government entities around the world.

• His collaborations include organizations such as the Nebraska Tourism Commission, Dubai-based Jumeirah Group, Tourism Authority of Thailand and, uber-luxury Oberoi Hotels. In 2013, he was invited as the first Professor in Residence by the Venetian-Palazzo resort in Las Vegas to study very large-scale operations in the service industry. (the Venetian-Palazzo is the largest five-star hotel in the world).

• Has received many awards including the 2017 University Distinguished Teaching Award and the 2016 Outstanding Teaching Award from University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
